Best 47mm submersible
I am in the market for either a pre owned or brand new from dealer submersible. 47mm is the only size i would wear (big wrist). What pam is the best bang for the buck? Bronzo is definitely not in my price range. Whats the best one that i should be after?

The best bang for buck has to be 305. Personally I have a 389 and prefer that as I prefer the look the ceramic bezel brings. The later 1389 and 1305 IMO aren't as balanced as I think the case is too thin and the lugs jut out and are thinner in profile.
Any other 47mm offers less bang for buck. I have a 389 and find it wearable for all occasions - even suited. |

If you have big wrist, maybe 285,as it’s a chunky beast with tritium lume (I prefer my submersible with 6 and 12 instead of I and II marker)
Alternatively,maybe a 569 for something different |

I don’t know about “best”, but there are many great options....
* 194 for 2500 “subzilla” (a beast.... 285 also is a nice chunk) * 305 for classic 47 sub with beautiful steel insert (1305 is thinner with blue hand) * 389 for ceramic insert (1389 is thinner with blue hand) * Any of the Bronzos |

Also are all submersibles 3 day reserve or is there one with 8 days? |

Bang for the buck would be a pre-owned 305!
Best Panerai submersible? IMO, the 692 BMG-Tech. You have to see it in person!!! |

The 372 is such a great piece. Can’t go wrong. I feel like anyone who is into PAM should have one and then move into the submersibles. So many good pieces but to me the classics are the 389/1389. Happy hunting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Forget cristal case backs on divers buddy...
My favorites are the 389 and 616. Like the 389 much more than the 305 which I had before because of the dial and bezel. The 616 is simply amazing but still in other price range..

Go SE (Special Edition) and not too old.
569 - specially made for a lefty. 364 - what a beast! Titanium and 2500M 508 - ultimate submersible. No need to intro I can only dream of the above watches as I only have a humble and old 24 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If I was getting a 47mm sub, it would be the 389/1389

I love the ceramic bezel...
So in down to 202, 389 Which one would you pick from the two? Also there are no AD’s in Indiana where im at.. closest is chicago.. I found a pam 389 on ebay for $9000 brand new... what do u think AD’s would let them go for? Preowned 389 around $6800 |

I’d go with 202 if I can handle the combination of size, thickness and weight since I’m not a fan of submersible with I and II marker....
