Happy Easter (1680 shots finally revealed)

Hey guys,

I know Ive been scarce on here for the past bit but moving has taken its toll, plus finals are around the corner so probably will be the last post until the 22nd. So happy easter. Here are the pics I promised. I love this little guy. ;) Of course im always seeing what else is out there, but ht is the closest to perfection ive found in a watch. so here he is!

The crystal on the 1680 is unique. Gives the watch such a distinctive look.

Great 1680!

Like you I love the 1680. I had mine refurbished by Rolex last September. I took the replacement bezel off yesterday to have a look and it is of solid construction with a rubber O Ring underneath it in lieu of the usual metal shim!

I guess it's kosher as Rolex did it!

Behind the scenes it's very different from the original bezel!

And I do believe that the acrylic crystal some how screw locks into the case.Only a very few watch manufactures use this system hence o-ring under bezel.
