Is it possible to replace a Rolex service insert superluminova pearl for a Tritium pearl.

Thank you

Yes it is possible. The lumina pearl will probable break apart when removed. Once the 'hole' is free of any debris, you can have a qualified watchmaker insert the Tritium pearl. "T" pearls are expensive and fragile.

Thanks for your quick response.
A 2017 service Rolex insert with Superluminova has the same hole diameter as a Tritium.

Thanks again

Sorry I do not understand correctly, I doubt.
A Rolex 2017 insert with Superluminova has the same diameter as a Tritium pearl.
Has anyone ever done this and has images of it.

Thanks

As long as you have a similar insert. Pearls for plastic crystal subs are different from sapphire crystal subs.

You can, although I don't see why you should bother, nobody will notice.

It is much easier to replace the insert with an older tritium version..

If I understand correctly, you can convert the tritium pearl.

On the internet you have a lot of aftermarket insert. I would rather buy a new service insert (original) and replace the pearl.
