Bezel Insert Tension Spring for 16700 missing

Dear all,

Today while swapping my bezel insert, i noticed that the clicking doesn't work and the bezel spins around freely. Then i discovered the tension spring went missing although i managed to find my click spring.

I went to RSC Singapore and they aren't very helpful. They would want me to change the whole bezel assembly for $400++.

I noticed that there are aftermarket tension spring for sale in ebay. Question is, will you buy such aftermarket options since its hidden within and doesn't affect the aesthetics? Is it possible to get the original parts anywhere?

Lastly, is it a difficult job to fix back the tension spring and the click spring? It seems more challenging than the swapping of insert.

Search on the sales forum here or over on VRF. I've seen them listed from time to time. Shouldn't be that hard to find one.

Will you all buy after market or insist on original parts?
