My sons-in-law fished over the Christmas holiday. Ice is thick enough, but they only caught a few panfish, perch and bass.

Sounds like a decent day ice fishing.

Beautiful place to build a home. How far is it to get a gallon of milk? Best of luck, looks fantastic.

Beautiful creatures. What do you have in the container to attract them?

Panoramic view of the front of the house after blowing snow yesterday:

The deer were peeking into the family room sliding glass door with the sunrise this morning. About -12 degrees F below zero. They were covered in frost and snow.

We put out about four pounds of corn a day, and deer pick at it from dusk to dawn. We've counted up to eleven deer at a time. Several of them do appear pregnant.

I heard a very loud banging sound downstairs yesterday. I walked down to find this male turkey fighting his reflection in the window. He was banging his beak and head against the glass so hard I was afraid it would break. He was back this evening courting two females. I wouldn't want to mess with him!

A photo taken today of the no-mow grass we planted last fall. It blends into the natural vegetation in the woods. It needs mowing once in the spring and once in the fall.
