recent Tudor 7928 pick up

Thanks for Linesider who helped with the first PCG 7928 submariner.

I recently picked this one up locally. Would appreciate any thoughts?

Appears to be gilt minute track, the dial is in good condition with a 702 crown.

thanks in advance.

Looks great!!
John is definitely the man.
Appears to be a later insert.
Gorgeous example of a later 7928. That one is a non PCG.

Nice pickup - 702 and insert likely from 80s major service

thank you - I've been lucky with most of the vintage purchases. Have managed to get away with paying very little in hindsight but patience is part of the game.

Here's the PCG.

Hi John - yes thats right.

Can't quite make out the serial but either is 506XXX or 596XXX - have seen different year variation across the web, any definitive on these two serial years?

thanks again

Nothing significant (though some 506k could have Chapter Ring Silver Prints) . They can be small sweep or Big bubble white, or gold hashes.

thanks John. My question was more is 506XXX 1965 or 1967? I have seen both on the various serial projects.
