Wow, even the presentations they copy from Apple, although this time they're actually first with something. Or was there a Chinese brand that has already been selling Folding phones?

The small front screen makes the phone look dated.

Looks to be very interesting. Something I definitely need to see in person. But I seem to be an “Apple sheep”. I almost always try Samsung and end up back with Apple

I think it is fabulous. Although I have a iPhone XS, (My first iPhone since the 5S) there is no doubt that Apple are getting left behind in technology by Samsung and others.

I carry my phone in my pocket. How thick is the thing when folded? It could be too thick to carry comfortably especially in jeans.

I’ll stick with Apple who is not falling behind Samsung in my opinion but I guess only time will tell.

Samsung has always been ahead of the game in terms of innovation and design. The majority of us just prefer Apple, due to its simplicity and perceived luxury compared to Samsung.

The new S10 however, quite the machine!

I think the next gen Fold will be much better execution wise but a great piece of kit nonetheless.

Apple is a luxury item? Oh boy. Joke of the day.
I have been a Samsung user since my first smartphone. Apple got left in the dust long ago. The iPhone is great for middle and high school kids because they are small and fit in kids back pockets easily. Love my Note9. Need nothing else.

I don't have a use for one and it's way too expensive.

I've had the S3, S5, S7, S8+, S9+ and I thought I might be interested in the S10+, but honestly, now I'm thinking that the S9+ with the Android 9 (Pie) upgrade will be good for at least another year, unless the hands-on reviews of the S10+ convince me otherwise.

This Samsung fold while not for everyone, I believe will pave the way for the future of Samsung the way the galaxy edge has.

when Samsung showed the galaxy edge it was odd and expensive but then every phone started getting a curve.

Me personally, I like small phones even my S8 im currently using is on the big side.

Definitely want to hold a S10e in person and see if it's worth the upgrade for me if not gonna replace my screen and battery and keep this until it dies. I don't do nothing except record videos take pictures and social media so it's definitely not needed

Personally I find ALL these whiz bang innovations rather interesting but I'm not sure who needs these great yearly introduced toys. And the fanboy devotions to particular brands seems beneath most people. I remember the Canon/Nikon and Apple/PC debates in years gone by.

I switch out iPhones every other model perhaps and except for the camera which I use as a toy because I have lots of cameras, I don't see a lot of things that are all that helpful to me from one breathless upgrade to the next.

In fact I prefer the smaller 6SE which is probably now a dinosaur because everyone wants an iPad in their pocket.

Can you imagine the repair cost if you dropped it.
Cool technology but I prefer the simplicity of my iPhone 8.

If it isn't too thick, I would probably get it.

FYI, Samsung always had greater market share then the Apple.

Very cool presentation. I’m impressed. I will definitely be looking in the store to see it in person. However, for a starting price of $2k I can’t see myself getting one.

Nope. No interest in dropping USD$2000 on an asset that will depreiciate faster than a new Aston Martin just driven off the lot, and that will be outdated within a couple years. I simply don't understand the fascination with having the latest and greatest phone.

Not sure that’s an accurate statement. A quick Google search shows iOS at a consistent 43% share and all others making up the balance. Based on that, I definitely see that Android has a larger market share than Apple, but Android is divided up by many manufacturers besides Samsung. Certainly Samsung owns the bulk of Android sales.

Looks neat. I'll wait to see how the next version looks. I like where this is going.

I'm a dinosaur, still have a Note 5. Even Mrs Yoda upgrades more often than me, and she's not a tech being.

Cool idea, I loved watching the presentation...from my iphone 6s.
Could care less about all these tech gadgets. At the end of the day I don't use my phone for anything other than email, music, calls and texts or a casual picture. I just don't see more value in getting a different phone.
