Size preference- a visual preference

Would love too add a poll but can’t figure out how from Tapatalk...if mods could do it, that’d be great! Good morning TRF. Not asking for my benefit, I know my personal answer.....
just wondering what the consensus / opinions are of the TRF? Where does your size preference fall?

A. Good amount of bracelet noticeable/visible. Smaller watch presence

B. Some bracelet noticeable/visible. Medium watch presence

C. Just a bit bracelet noticeable/visible. Large watch presence

D. Other.....explain?

Have a great Friday

The three are perfect, but I'm torn to the big size (deport) watches.

I prefer the size and visual presence of the YG Submariner. A perfect YG watch in my opinion. I really like the DD but a bracelet with no "on the fly adjustment" does not work for me. The Sky-Dweller is cool but too much, both in cost and presence.

Why anyone would want noticeable watch presence defeats me, go around with a sticker on forehead shouting hey I am wearing a Rolex. Then you could get some noticeable watch presence but from the wrong source.

They all look good. I’d go with A for me personally but none of those look wrong. Happy choosing.

Notable presence wasn’t really the context of the thread, or the question that was being asked, but thank you for your opinion. So I’m assuming you’d prefer a fit like pic #1, or smaller.

For me it really comes down to the reference and tends to make a big difference IMO.

In your photos I actually like that you can see a bit more of that beautiful president bracelet and for me, the same holds true for my BLRO jubilee

I prefer the larger dial visual of my Panerai

I thought about that as well when I saw a thread a couple days ago about “seeing the bracelet”. The president bracelet is just as beautiful as anything else to look at....as much as most any watch face....IMO

Hi Richard

I'm going for option D - other

Insofar as it depends upon the watch.

As an example, I'm happy with my SD which, on me, falls into option C (albeit only when viewed with my wrist turned towards me).

However, for a Day Date, I think it suits more bracelet being visible (the president bracelet is a thing of beauty, whereas the oyster is more classic functionality) and so I'd be more inclined to go with a DD36 to have that one fall into option A.

Does that make sense?

The President bracelet and Royal Oak bracelet are two which I would wear the watch just to wear the beautiful bracelets!

I prefer 37-39mm. My wrist size is 6.5-6.75 depending on my fatness. But i believe if you are wearing a DD40. It should have presence

I agree about the DD. I guess it’s all relative....I have a 6 3/4 in wrist, but my arm changes proportion after the wrist, not just thin all the way to elbow. I guess body type, arm/forearm dimensions, skin tone, etc...all make a difference

I wear anything between 34(vintage) to 42mm. When your arms/wrists/hands are "ripped" one can pretty much wear any size you want(like you). If you have wrists like a Beluga and try and swing a 34 it would make pudgy wrists look silly.

THE YELLOW ONE!!!!

In all honesty, Richard, I seem to be drawn to the President bracelet. Nice watches though....now go out and drive the Ferrari!

All look great. But the sub is just an exceptional match to wrist. Other than case size and curvature, I personally think contrasting dials on YG are the best way to go. Admittedly, I am partial to subs.

A/B never C. 36mm-39mm is perfect on my 7.2” wrist. 40mm (true 40) for a dive watch.

I think everyone knows that a Daytona, DD40, etc are not truly 40mm.

A or B. C looks too big and chunky imho. Maybe a YG Daytona could be a nice model to consider as well?

Tough question because they all look great on you.

If I had to pick, I'd say the sub looks the best with the day-date at a very close second
