Thanks. That's what I was worried about. I have some metal credit cards and my FLP is not wearing well either. My trusty LV so far is the champ.

I currently switch between a FLP card holder, bi-fold, and a Bottega bi-fold, all of these hold up significantly better than my Goyard card holder and bi-fold of the past. YMMV, just my experience.
Further to my post above, see this post of wear. Some may like it, but to me it is unacceptable for the price point for these.

Check my post above, link to a previous post earlier showing the wear I was talking about. Mine was actually a bit worse than that, couldn't even give it away to my younger brother for free

Been carrying a FLP 6 Card Bi-Fold daily for the past 3 years and it looks brand new. I do have a few metal cards that stretch the slots more than plastic but this is the norm in any wallet. I don't see myself going back to Goyard or LV.

I wish FLP didn't start selling online and kept it through SA only, but oh well. I like carrying something that not many people know about.

Thanks to watchmaniac for initiating this thread and to the many who replied. Interesting reading to say the least. I suggest that the forum check out the hand made wallets and card wallets listed on etsy.com.

Since I’m on vacation with my wife, I snapped a quick pic of my wallet with our daily wearers.

Have a great week everyone!

Mine is holding up. I do use my LV most of the time because I have heard of the wear issues, but so far so good. Just wish my cards would slide out easier, but it is probably because it isn’t fully broken in.

Goyard and Tudor Black Bay Burgundy.

I'm using the Goyard St. Marc daily and the painting fabric is holding up really well. Actually much better than I expected. Highly recommended!!20220112_095009.jpg

Green goyard St Sulpice. Love it. Had a black Louis Vuitton damier cardholder prior.

I haven't ordered lately but the wallets have been redesigned. For example I have a 4 year-old 6CC Wallet and now they only sell they extended 6CC which is only about 1/4"wider. Along with that difference the solid strips of yellow and blue on the left edge was added.

Now with most places accepting google/apple pay, I only carry my DL and a debit card (just in case I need to hit up an atm) in one of those super tight rubber card slot thingy that is stickered on the back of my phone.

Before that I used (still have, in my sock drawer) various wallets, from fossil to LV to coach, and a custom one made my Jason Boone (MonkMade).
