Rolex air-king 116900

I've been considering my to buy options for 2021, buying a Rolex AIR-KING 116900 with box and papers was a consideration and your comprehensive review has help with making a decision.

Great review. So many fans on this thread for an off-beat reference. Love it.

Some days I admire the Air King. Other days I don’t like it. It’s definitely a piece with character.

I was very surprised it is such a chunky piece of watch. She's thicker than the Explorer 2

I love the font used for “ Air King “ on the dial.

Great review, thanks for sharing! I think the 116900 is one of the coolest Rolex watches imho. So strange in the best sense. I considered it a couple of years ago when they were going for the mid 5k - I missed that window. Maybe in the future sometime. What a great watch!

Air King 116900

Rolex Air King is a beautiful watch. Keeps impeccable time and dial with green, gold, white and yellow is different. Plus no dots and dashes but numbers.

This is a classic that Rolex snubs don’t understand. It will last the test of time.

I love the look of the Air-King but wish it had Lume!
