Hour hand 4-5 minutes off after official Rolex service?

Long story short, I had my 14060M with a 3130 movement serviced by Rolex, and it came back with the hour hand misaligned by about 4 or 5 minutes. For example, the hour hand aligns perfectly with the 6 o'clock marker when the minute hand is at 55 minutes instead of 0. Conversely, when the minute hand is at 0 (or 12 o'clock), the hour hand is slightly advanced from the 6 o'clock marker.

Is this normal and within tolerance? Just wondering before I take it back to the AD. TIA!

I would personally send it back for correction. Something like that would drive me nuts every time I look at the hands. They should fix it for free.

This can happen if the hands aren’t set 100% accurately onto the movement during reassembly. It’s not unheard of, but a relatively simple fix.

I’d imagine your date change could be out of tolerance too. Would recommend checking that as well before heading back to the AD.

NO excuse for such a bad alignment!
Plus it is such a simple test to check it after the hands were reinstalled.
Makes one wonder how bad the rest of the service actually is . . . .
It wasn't Rolex Dallas, was it? They have a GOOD reputation overall.
