I’ll play. Pictured are a pair of Oyster Perpetuals. One is mine and the other is my daughter’s. I bought it for her in 2014 and tucked it away...she’s 14 now, so I’ll give it to her in a few years. Maybe for her eighteenth birthday. Or, maybe as a college graduation present (hopefully!). Haven’t decided when. I think I’ll know when the time is right, whenever that turns out to be.

She actually picked it out at the time. I was torn between a couple of models and so the sales associate set up a little ruse. We “dropped by” to say hello and the sales lady asked her opinion between the two contenders. She picked the watch you see alongside mine, unaware she’d just chosen her own watch.
