Hello To everybody

I would like to ask you guys what do you think about buying this watch (new unworn with box and stuff) at 10k€
With 1 year full warranty

(It is not a web purchase, I’ll have the chance to see it and try it before buying it)

I won't (and can't) comment on the price but the watch is fantastic. I really love IWC.

Love that it's titanium, keeps the weight of larger watches down. Can't comment on the price but really digg the look.

I love the look of the IWC GST titanium watches. You have to know if you like a PC complication in a tool watch like this.

One word of caution... I owned an IWC GST titanium chrono 3707 for a few years and the blasted matte titanium looks absolutely gorgeous when mint. If it gets scratched and banged around though any scratches and dings look much worse than on a steel watch in my experience as you locally lose the matte finish. I also felt the titanium gets dinged easier than stainless steel.

Speaking about dings... The bezel in your pic has a pretty big dent between 5 and 6 o'clock.

The IWC perpetual calendar is my grail. Love their watches. Not to be a downer, but what does the service cost on a perpetual calendar? As my collection expands (and ages) I am thinking about the service costs!

Well thanks for the answers

I’ll consider it

I’m looking at it as a everyday watch instead of my 116520 white dial (which I’ll keep anyway)

So I will take in consideration the scratch situation (on titanium) and the servicing cost too

Thanks

Ahhhh... yeah I think you are right. I have been wrongly calling it brushed... but the point is that I like “duller” finishing and not shiny/polished surfaces.

It is thick but wearable even on a smaller wrist. I enjoyed mine and loved that it could also be worn on a black rubber strap. To have it 120m WR is great for a PC Chronograph.

They're a great deal for an IWC PC.

I think you can also mount them on the OEM rubber strap that the Aquatimers had ~15 years ago, if you can find one.
