My Artisans de Geneve Honey Blue Challenge Daytona
I received this watch in mid November. Dealing with this company was easy and communication was great.
From what I was told, there were "way less than 50" produced. It is a fascinating watch both front and back. Indoor lighting makes the face look very dark, but in daylight, the face comes to life. And it is a delight to turn the watch over and see the open case and the insides of the watch . My watch slightly differs from their spec in that I wanted the original crystal used. I'm glad I did this. I hate scratches. The bezel won't scratch like the original metal one and this is a huge plus for me. The bracelet is brushed. Again, great for reducing scratches on a bracelet with pcl's. Some pics are included to compare it with a PP 5205or and An AP 26331or. I also requested that they return unused parts. It's kind of cool to see the original configuration. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk |

Gorgeous congratulations. Wish Rolex would make them like this. I love that you posted it here to avoid 100 people complaining it’s not factory Rolex lol well done

Yes. Love it, there are several of their Daytonas which are really appealing to me. |

Thanks everyone.
I figured the mods could move it if this wasn't the correct forum. |

Absolutely superb. Done like this I can’t see why anyone could complain.

absolutely stunning! I don't have the balls and/or money to pull the trigger on one of these, but it's really incredible. Congrats!

It's kind of cool to see the original configuration./QUOTE] Congrats. This is by far my favorite creation from Les Artisans de Geneve. When I found out about it, they had already closed the orders. I've been following their history for some time now and they are becoming the "Singer Design" (The Porsche 911 recreations...) of the watch world. People started to see them not only as a customization company. They are in a different level. It's really nice to see pictures in real life. I noticed the blue seems to be different from the official pictures in their website. Would you mind sharing more of your experience with the whole purchase? How was it? Did you have the donor watch or did you source one? Could you make modifications or they were just limited to few parts? How long did it take for you to get the watch back? I really want to get them to make me a modified GMT Master, but they have very limited availability for new projects... |

Great questions and a good observation about the color.
They were great to deal with and communication was good even though they were dealing with covid delays at times. They sourced the watch for me. It was a used 116508. The only thing I wanted different than their proposal was that I wanted the original crystal used. They also put my monogram on the back of the watch. Thus the picture with my fingers covering up a lot of the back. It took 8 weeks to make it. They shipped to me. Very easy. Regarding the color. When I first saw the watch, I was honestly disappointed. The dial is very dark indoors. I actually e-mailed them about it. I asked if different batches had different hues or if it was more of a photographic enhancement used in their advertising. They did not respond. I'm pretty sure it's the latter. However, the more I wear the watch, the more I love the dial. It has such depth to its color and looks different in different lights and angles. Does it look like their advertisements? No. Not really. But my pictures really do not do it justice. It is drop dead gorgeous. |

"I actually e-mailed them about it. I asked if different batches had different hues or if it was more of a photographic enhancement used in their advertising.
They did not respond." That's the same response I get whenever I ask Philippe why my Tribute 5513 has a wider body on one side. :) |

Thanks a lot for the honesty in your answer. It does look very different from their official pictures, but I still like it a lot :)
