Is it just a coincidence on how you are taking photos or where you are standing? Or a week-in does the bezel really not look deep black like it does in the renders except at very specific angles?

My pics apparently are not doing it justice bc the bezel is a pretty shiney black giving the watch a lot of contrast. You'll LOVE it!!!

Agree with Rick. Perhaps a little hard to capture with an iPhone camera. I was actually really surprised by how great it looked yesterday in overcast weather.

Agreed, the pics aren't cutting it. Best solution would be for you to send me the watch, let me look at it for a week or two, and then return it to you. Don't worry, I'll pay for shipping and insurance and any bracelet resizing necessary.

Good?

hey owners, very jealous. quick question...there are some resellers online who purport to have the daytona c for sale (one even at $12,000). Are these most likely scams or something given how highly sought after the daytona C is right now? I am looking for my first rolex and have decided on a Daytona and would not want to be taken for a ride.

This is definitely a SCAM!!!!! These are in very short supply and being sold by only boutiques only for now with wait lists at 40 people and up. So, there are no deals on these and legit ones would be going for well above retail. I'm told Rolex is very picky about who gets these aka allowed to buy them, Stay away from the online crap! Ole DSW is selling one for a mere 21k if waiting is not an option, I'd hold tight......

I was sold on white for visibility reasons but your Blacks are looking pretty hot. Any visibility issues for either of you with the Black faced watch?

No, and I had 116520 black dial that I loved but was challenging to read at times. This dial is better.

Most assuredly a scam at $12K, don't waste any further time considering.

Waiting list

Just went to my local AD at lunch (Newcastle UK) - they said the waiting list for the Daytona-C there is 8 years, with only 2 due in before December 2017!

Well done to those who are enjoying them now!

That gives you plenty of time to save up then! From these photos the new one is definitely more matte looking. Liking the black a lot!
