Is anyone else worried about......

wearing a Rolex now that the prices on almost all models are so high (not a thread about if they're worth it...at all!!)

I'm very wary of going places with mine.....and truth be told it's not that valuable in terms of a Rolex.....but still substantial (116713LN).

I don't wear it on vacations and am getting uncomfortable with the looks I get.....I'm beginning to wonder if it's all worth it....I wouldn't let my wife wear a huge diamond to draw attention and I almost feel that's where we are.

If the least expensive model is 6k at retail......this is not the old days of wearing my old Datejust that was worth a couple of thousand with complete comfort.

As the frenzy continues just thought I would throw this out.

No, that’s why I have insurance. I buy a watch to wear it. Simple as that.

Well the issue is not insurance imho. It’s about what can happen toy you or loved ones, and at the end even a holy grails could be had sooner or never.

I also have insurance......but getting robbed at gunpoint is my concern....last summer in Barcelona a man who was staying in our air BNB complex had a gun put to his head for his President...that's what I'm talking about.

An object can always be replaced.....

I just think the criminals have to know the value of what's on a wrist.....and for the value of these watches it may occur more frequently....maybe I'm wrong but I don't think so.

Hey Rolex marketing states it's all about the adventure. So hop aboard the hype train and ride it like you stole it.
