Early 1930's Tudor Rolex Mens
Hi guys,
I found an old Tudor Rolex in my Grandparent's house and was hoping someone can provide some more info. It's definitely an art deco style and from what I've read, the elongated 'T' in 'Tudor' dates it to the very early Tudor Rolexes made for the Australian market in the 30's . It's in a 9ct gold case by Handley. The dial is marked with 'Tudor' and 'Rolex Watch Co Ltd' The movement is marked 'Tudor and '17 Rubies' and 'ARFS' or 'AFRS'. also marked '59' and 'Swiss Made' I can't find anything similar online. Any info would be appreciated. Some photos below. Cheers |

There's some info on Handley and Hantily cases here: https://www.watchuseek.com/threads/h...-info.1056809/
I had one from the 1930s some years ago. A few pics of it and an old ad....

Geiger reading on the dial? Would be most interested to learn the results.
