Lange Odysseus WG

I’m a proud owner of the Odysseus in SS and like the watch with all its pros and cons. I’ve now the opportunity to also acquire a WG version. I’m very inclined purchasing the watch but wanted to hear from owners how the like it, especially on the rubber strap.
Any owners of both versions who can share their verdict?

I have both
I hate the rubber strap personally
Lange said I’m their only customer who has said anything other than they love it so I’m in the minority
I prefer the leather strap and they got me a really cool crock strap too

Don’t get me wrong I like rubber straps just not this one
But like I said I’m clearly the outlier

The watch itself is great ! I love it but just won’t wear the rubber

Funny I always thought it looked best on that brown leather vs the black rubber. Not an owner so can’t comment further.

Owner here, its a nice watch to have. Rubber strap doesn't bother me and makes it bit sportier.

I have both. WG should have a bracelet. The WG is never as comfortable as the SS and I’m not talking weight. The rubber strap just never gets comfortable for me. So I don’t wear it as much. Overall I find bracelet watches more comfortable and balanced.

Owner here. I really dislike the OEM rubber - it feels flimsy and cheap. I like it on the brown leather and got a custom croc for it that also looks great.
