Rootbeer Rolex ....

I saw one on eBay ... asking $4250.00 ... sold by royalpawn ... is that a fair price? This is a current auction that is a buy-it-now or best offer.

They range between $3800 up to $6000 depending on condition, age, reference number, etc.

Is it a 16753 or a 16713? Nipple dial?

For that price it needs to be pristine with very little to no stretch on bracelet and should come with box and papers.

+1

I see them in the classifieds here and other watch forums in the $3300 to $3800 range with no books&papers, boxes and a stretched bracelet, susully a TT jubilee

Without knowing more about the specific watch, I would think $4,000-ish is a good price.

Jocke - your rootbeer is amazing ... I'm going to have to pick one of those up. Love the 'gator band - great color match.

Jocke, how come your watch has the solid brown bezel as apposed to the two-tone brown and yellow that I've seen on most two tone root beers? Is the bezel a replacement?

I thought only the 18K model had the solid brown but I'm still learning about these. I love them...

Yes, in my opinion, that is a fair price for a Rootbeer GMT II in pristine condition with box and papers. I paid around that same price in 2007 for mine.

It's a original Daytona strap.

It's a faded brown bezel from a all gold GMT. The numbers have faded to silver, it's gold from the start.

Rootbeer is on my short list, I would really like an 18Kt with a hidden clasp jubilee.
