Nope.. Not my cup of tea.. But, it does look pretty cool being able to see the movement.

Hi Rachel...I got one for my datejust from Thomas Preik and I think it is awesome. Obviously you cannot see it when you are wearing the watch but I find myself taking it off to look at the movement...good luck!

Hey Al, someone asked it in another thread and I apologize if it was answered but whats up with the discoloration on your bracelet? Is that rust or just the way the picture came out?

You know, I've never noticed that until someone pointed it out today. It isn't rust though, its a reflection of something or other. Looks like I'm going to have to learn to take a decent pic to replace that one.

I would like to get a clear case back for my Tudor tiger chrono.
I need to find out if the daytona back is the same as the 79280.

Would those case back affect the water resistance rating?
Can you do it yourself or do you need to take it to a professional? (pressure test, etc.)

I have a comparison and DIY at http://www.minus4plus6.com/caseback.htm

Would post pictures, but I am tapping this out from my phone. Feel free to shoot me questions as they arise.

If you have a Rolex caseback tool and the correct tool for whichever clear displayback you get, you can do the install yourself, should take all of 4 minutes; but you'll want to take it to a watchmaker to have it pressure tested. Water resistance rating isn't affected at all with Thomas Preik's - not sure about the other ones.
