That is one of the reasons I went with SD4K instead of Sub (plus the large lugs turned me off too)

Today I made my second visit to the Ad. I wanted to watch the subs again after the initial wow and hype.

After my first visit I was 70% green, 30% black no date. Today I felt just the opposite

Look both are amazing choices but for a daily beater I am not sure if the green is a good choice. Specially taking into account that I am a blue man (not sad but preferred color ;-)

The black Sub looks too much like your GMT, so green would make more sense. If you have two steel Rolex sports models with black dial and almost the same colour bezel (black vs black/dark blue), you will prefer one model over the other and wear the other less and less. With the green you actually feel like wearing something different.

Yeah, in my opinion colour does a lot more than a date window. If there was a no date LV, the choice would be more obvious I imagine
