Now that looks a perfect fit.

As for the OP, I'd say it's a tad too big but it still looks OK

Personally I'm not keen on the larger size. If it had stayed at 40m with the slimmer lugs I think the response in general would have been better and I'd have wanted one. This new size doesn't want me to change my current watch.

Size is personal preference. I think 6.5 wrist up will look good on this 41mm Sub.

From your picture, it looks perfect on your wrist.

This size thing is really interesting. I think it was a Hodinkee review, that compared the old vs. the new Sub case sizes. It was brought up that when the cases were actually "miked", the old Sub was 40.2 and the new Sub is 40.5mm. So we're talking round up and round down as decided by Rolex. Side by side pictures showed an indiscernible diameter difference as we're talking about .3mm difference. That being said, the new tapered lugs and the 1mm wider bracelet as it meets the watch head make for a much more integrated look IMO. The new clasp is 1 mm wider than the existing clasp, as stated in the review. For me, I have never been crazy about the Maxi case lugs and the way they capture light or how they connect to the 20mm bracelet. Just my 2 cents. I plan on getting a new one down the road when all the hubris dies down.

Another point of reference: new Sub and BLNR on the same wrist (i.e., mine). Regardless of size preference, it's clear they wear very similar and if one works, the other one does as well. BLNR is mine, Sub is not :(

The bracelet and the clasp is the real problem.

I prefer the 11 series Submariner but my favorite of all the dive watches remains the SD4K. I have a 6.75” wrist.

Looks good on your wrist and will look even better when sized. The new Sub is a hit.

Jenni elle just posted a vid on youtube on this issue comparing Hulk to the new cermit

Diameter Hulk 40.2mm and cermit 40.5mm

Depth same both watches

Lug to lug same both watches

So the issue is 0.3mm on the diameter?

For me, the issue is with the size increase in the clasp...the width is over 1mm from the previous Sub. I need to try it on to see how it wears but the larger clasp and bracelet was one of the things I preferred on the older Sub to when I had the SD43 for ex.

Thanks a lot everyone for your opinions! It looks like the majority votes that the watch looks really good on my wrist!
tbh I was skeptical before trying the watch as I know that the watch looks perfect on ~7.5'' wrists and I always preferred more vintage sizes but when I tried that it felt really really good!
