Humphries Watch Protector
This is something that I picked up years ago....... Ive recently rediscovered it in a box of watch spares that I have about the place,
I'm thinking it was intended to use in a button hole, and then you place the "T" Bar of your pocket watch chain through it? if anyone has any other suggestions then please do share.

Is the center magnetic? Humphries is a protective service. That may be something a watchman carries and has to insert at stations in a certain time period.

Gosh.... after all these years... It never crossed my mind that this is what it was intended for, the center is not magnetic but the jump link is solder, to prevent loss, how it arrived over here lord knows, many thanks for the information I wonder how old it is?

I can't find the "trade card" mentioned in the link. Humphries trade cards that I found are for which hazel. |

That trade card is for Humphreys rather than Humphries. Probably mis-indexed by web crawler.

I'm usually very good at finding what I'm looking for but this one I come up empty. Google throws page after page out but none are for my search query. |
