Never thought about it like that. I just like Rolex and enjoy wearing em. No sure what it means other than I like watches and especially Subs.

That’s how I took it too.

Man of Rolex; man of steak; man of riesling; man of steel; it's all silly.

Normally I am a nobody. But I strap on my Rolex, especially on a Saturday night, and I become the Man of Rolex. It's not as fun as it sounds -- fighting off the women is tiring. It can result in stalkers or even slashed tires.

I think I'd rather be referred to as a Man of Pizza. I've never heard of "Man of Rolex" & I feel like it would be said by a person who only sees a Rolex as a shiny thing, said to someone who feels the same way.

just came across some of his stuff. i agree with your assessment but i'm hoping for the latter as the alternative would be fairly grim.

i spent a bit of time over on WUS this morning and after perusing some of "man of rolex" posts (probably not good form to post his user name) it's clear he is a rolex fan but just having a good time winding people up and it's done tongue-in-cheek. nice enough guy.

Can’t be. There’s no long intro story about some girl.
