Omega 1171 bracelet

This may have been posted in the past but just curious.

Anyone have any experience with the current 1171 bracelet available from Omega? I would kind of like to have the option of putting a vintage style bracelet on my Speedy Pro from time to time just for nostalgia. This wouldn't be a day in day out bracelet. I know they are on the light aluminum side but would it be worth the $450 price of entry just for occasional use?

Thanks

I had one it and it kept popping open when i bent my wrist. Omega actually ended up refunding my money on this one. Pretty disappointing...but looked awesome.

That's not good! They just couldn't adjust the clasp hooks tight enough?

They were stumped, as was I...we tried all manner of changing the length and where it was connecting on the clasp, but if I bent my wrist backward (like opening a door)...POP! Off it would come.

Not worth it.

They are cool looking...but there is a reason the bracelet has been continually updated since the 60's I suppose. I may take a pass on it...a bit too spendy to not have odds of working.

I think it’s worth it. Flimsy, rattly, but much better looking than the newer bracelet
