IWC x Hodinkee pilot's watch
Selling my near mint condition and very cool IWC x Hodinkee pilot’s watch in Ceratanium (reference number IW324801). As I suspect you are aware, this watch was offered by Hodinkee in February and the limited run of 500 pieces sold out in hours. I was lucky enough to pick one up on somewhat of a whim; unfortunately the piece never grew on me, so I am letting it go, as I prefer some of my other military style watches a bit better. This watch has been worn exactly 5 times; as such it is in a close to brand new condition as you would care to find in a used timepiece. This is only the third reference (to the best of my understanding) ever manufactured by IWC in Ceratanium, a lightweight and durable black ceramic-titanium material. Per the Hodinkee site for this watch, the current issue took its design cues from the IWC Mark II from 1948 and mid-1980s reference 3705 Fliegerchronograph. The dial is super clean and highly legible in day or night, thanks to the lume at the quarter hours. This watch has a relatively low SN (<200 as seen in the photo).
Sale includes the watch on its OEM olive green embossed calfskin strap with Ceratanium buckle, box and papers, as well as shipping CONUS. I am open to shipping internationally at the buyers expense.
