Icon10 Got my first Omega!

Well I got tired of waiting to hear from my AD for any of the Rolex models I wanted. So I decided to check out some other stuff. I never really considered Omega before but after some research I feel stupid for not paying attention before. I'm really impressed with this new piece and it's presentation.

Very nice!!! The Sedna gold on that Seamaster pops different in person. I got to try that exact piece on at the OB in San Fran and honestly it was a coin flip between it and the Speedmaster Moonphase I ended up with. If funds were limitless I’d have left with both in a heartbeat! Wonderful pick up and congrats wear it in the best of health

Extremely good choice. Black is my favorite although I like all the colors for this reference. I have the exact one on bracelet. Enjoy it. Spend some time studying the dial. It’s unbelievable.

Yes, hopefully Rolex will wake up soon. Until then my money goes elsewhere!

Fantastic watch. Gets a lot of wear in my rotation the rubber is about as comfortable as it gets.

If you have the chance to visit an OB or an AD with a large selection I would definitely recommend trying on a few different variants. I went to the OB in San Fran with the sole intention of leaving with a sapphire sandwich moonwatch, and ended up with the Speedmaster moonphase instead and couldn’t be happier. Getting to put watches on your wrist is truly the best way to make that decision. Funny thing too I had seen the Sedna gold accented Seamaster on rubber in photos and didn’t care for it, but when I put it on (at the suggestion of my better half) I loved it and as I said it was a coin flip. In the end I left with the moonphase since one of the things I wanted more immediately in my collection was a black dial, less flashy daily for work since my Rolex JC is tall and attention grabbing (being a Rolex diver) and sometimes gives off the wrong vibe with clients. The moonphase has been perfect; I’ve gotten a couple “nice watch, what is that?” compliments whereas with my Rolex I’ve gotten mostly just stares and even a small eye roll I’m sure they didn’t think I noticed once lol.

Congratulations. That is beautiful watch. I think Rolex is becoming Omega’s best sales rep.
