1st Omega purchase
Went to my local boutique thinking about buying the hesalite speedmaster but ended up with this one. Crazy expensive compared to the steel diver, but couldn’t resist this beauty.
I really like what Omega did here and it feels very comfortable on my 6,75 inch wrist after the SA reversed the bracelet sides. I don’t care much for the Bond connection and fortunately the dial is cleared of any mention of the movie |

Congrats. Really cool watch and much different from the standard Diver 300 especially when you see it in person.

The SA suggested swapping the sides of the bracelet and the problem was solved. It is not perfect as I would like to have smaller adjustment steps, but it is so light, well finished and comfortable that it is hard to take out of my wrist |

Appt with Omega AD Friday. Never tried on an Omega and planning on maybe a hesalite or sapphire but we will see. So turned off by Rolex and the process the last few years. Not saying they should stock everything and go in and buy any watch at anytime…..but I will not play the games with ADs or do some trash multi year “waitlist.”

Congrats! This is an excellent choice for your first Omega purchase. Something tells me it won't be the last either. Enjoy in good health.

That's a great looking watch. Such a nice pick up. I think it would look awesome on a nice oil rubbed leather strap, as well.
I'm fed up with the Rolex shenanigans, too. It's been almost 2 years waiting for a sub no date to celebrate a big milestone that came and went this past April and I even have another Rolex purchase with them. They kept saying "oh no worries, 18 months is such a long time..." then I got "12 months is plenty of time," and so on. I felt so good about working with this AD that I didn't go to any of their competitors. Big mistake. I thought for sure almost 2 years would be plenty of advanced notice for an AD to help me celebrate. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk |
