EMBER WATCHES in Germany

Watch out people! I heard terrible stories from friend of mine.
It is a company who modifies Rolex and other high horology brands.
Models like Daytona and GMT's are popular.

AVOID. It's a scam. He has lost his watch for good.

In legal terms, your post is hearsay.

If you have a personal experience to share, please do so.

Posting second-hand tales from "a friend of yours" carries no weight without support of facts or details.

Ember Watches - a Scam

I saw a receipt post regarding this company.

I commissioned a watch from the company in January 2018.

After much back and forth via email for the past six months and numerous weak excuses as to why my watch has not been delivered in the agreed 6 weeks, I have placed the matter in lawyers hands.

Dear ROLEX lovers,
unfortunately there were delivery problems of the base watch 116520 but in the end everything was fine and Antony has received his EMBER Paul Newman.

Cheers Team EMBER

Dear Rolex community,
the post is a bit older but we do not want to leave the post uncommented. At that time there were delivery problems with the basic watch (Rolex Daytona 116520)
...but in the end everything will be fine and Antony wears his EMBER Paul Newman

If this is true - and Anthony would do business with you again - please contact him and ask him to validate his good reference here for all to see.

The reason I ask is nobody wants to do business with a firm when a lawyer is required to get their watch returned.

+1

Better late than never I suppose, but if the buyer had to resort to legal pressure to get results that still isn't very reassuring.
Would be interesting to hear from the buyer regarding the final outcome.

I'll just leave these here as well:

Ember Watches - DO NOT BUY

Instagram comments.

Also, I'm not exactly sure what an "Ember" Paul Newman is...
From the pics above, it simply looks like a later Daytona reference with a counterfeit dial, aftermarket bezel/crystal, and the crown guards hacked off.
