My 45.5MM Planet Ocean Wrist Shots

Never thought I would be wearing a 45.5MM watch but with my big wrists I think it looks better than smaller watches.

Looks great on your wrist. Congrats again.

Does your Sub C now feel small in comparison?

Yes, the Sub C feels very tiny. It's kinda funny actually since so many people think the Sub C is "bulky". I have 8" wrists so the 45.5MM PO fits fine on me but this is definately not a little wrist watch thats for sure.

I am actually enjoying the size for my size wrist.

Magic 8-ball says..... Dan's Sub-C is on borrowed time. After stepping up to 44mm's the Sub-C no longer "does it' for me either.

Awesome watch

Enjoy it! Once you go big, it's hard turning back. Next up, we'll get you in some Panerai's!

Yep, Dan is a bit reluctant to embrace the dark-side but I'm working on him. I foresee a Dan2010 PAM incoming post sometime this year.

I don't know much about omegas Dan, but that sure is a beautiful watch and looks equally as good on your wrist. Is the seamaster the top of the Omega line?

I'm JUST now getting into Omega myself. I've been a Rolex guy and I'm venturing out a bit. I believe the PO is the top of the line as far as their dive watches go.

Only the PloProf 1200 would edge out the PO if you are into the look. I like it, but could not wear one daily.

Calling a sub flimsy really gets some folks fired up, but it is to me.

Can you not read?
Since when is "tiny" the same as "flimsy"?

Yeah, definately NOT saying its flimsy. I love the Sub and its very well built. It just when you go from 45.5 to 40MM, it definately seems small. It's all relative though.

That is exactly what happened to me too! PO 45mm came into the collection, Sub-C left. I cannot seem to get comfortable with anything less than 42mm now. In fact, I may sell my Explorer II 42mm to fund the PO Titanium.

Congratulations Dan - looks great on your wrist!

Love it, but I'm biased by my new purchase. Wear in good health.
