I am thinking of a omega seamaster professional
I saw a seamaster professional auto chronometer today for $1900. Has anyone had problems with this watch, and what is the difference between an eta movement and the movement in the omega. Any advice is welcomed.
Thanks in advance. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk

The Omega movement in that watch is a modified ETA 2892, one of the best automatic movements out there. Not only bullet proof, but also placed by many in the same category as the Rolex movement.
Technically, since Omega and ETA are part of the same company, you can almost consider that in house.

Consider a bit of an older one with classic sword hands!

I have the blue dial sword hands, have had it since 1997, hasn't skipped a beat in all these years. She shares my wrist time now with my Speedy and Rolex Sub, but for 11 years was on my wrist every day, no exceptions. A true classic....

The Omega 1120 is a ETA 2892.A2 chronometer movement with the following changes:
- Extra 2 jewels (not sure where) - Improved winding mechanism - Omega quality finish (perlage, Geneva waves, gold inlay lettering) - Omega shaped rotor I agree with the other poster, it's a bullet proof although unsophisticated movement you'll find in many high end movements. A very safe bet.
