Help ID'ing an Omega
So I have a watch given to me as a gift (hand me down)that I no longer wear,
I know that it is a two tone Constellation with Chrono. Does anyone know the exact model perhaps? Also, would should i expect to get for this piece? Is it worth selling at all? |

not really sure of the value. i was always taught though that you never sell a gift. re-gift maybe, but never sell.
i am sure someone here can offer you better information.

Do you have a serial number?
Is it quartz or automatic? |

It is a quartz, where would the serial number be on this one?

Serial Number for this model would be deeply engraved on the caseback.
No serial number, I'd bin it. Capture.JPG

All the info on the serial and model should be on the paperwork.
Take a clear pic of the paper work and someone will point out the model number. Just check the serial on the paperwork against the watch serial. They should match. |

Looks like a ref 12423000, wouldn't sell it though! If it's a gift, keep it. I think it's an overlooked model and I'm not sure what it would sell for...

big thanks to directioneng and kyle L
Any idea what this thing would fetch? To the poster that keeps asking about papers and box, the reason i no longer have it is because i was just given the watch, nothing else. Doubt the papers and box are still out there somewhere. |

Best bet would be to search up completed listings on ebay, but I haven't seen any chronographs go up for sale lately.

We bought mine new from Farren Price Adelaide in 2000.
We also bought a matching ladies full bar Constellation at the same time. $3500.00. for the pair. $2400.00 and $1100.00 from memory.
