Combination of sports watch
In my last post, most of you friends recommend me to keep the 5167a and get
a 5712a, so I decide to keep 2 watches, 1 tropical bracelet and 1 stainless steel bracelet. The problem now is that do I need to change my 5167a to 5164a? Which combination is better? |

I used to have the 5712/1a and the 5167a. It has been a wild and windy journey on the Patek road ever since. I’ve never owned a 5164a, but it seems to be THE ONE to have these days. I’d probably go with the 5712 and 5164. Otherwise, the 5712 and the 5167r to mix it up a little.

I want to mix simplification and complication. But the dial of 5164 keeps in my mind. |

I’m for 5711 1/a Blue and 5164a. That’s my ideal Patek sports combo.

I remember trying this on as an afterthought with the Rolex WG BLRO when it first came out and I was chatting with the AD about how expensive the bezel insert cost and why it was on WG for half an hour... but when I left I kept thinking about the 5164, even tho it was a SS watch and I was on a major PM kick at the time... but a few years later with that memory still fresh I finally bought one. |

I like my 5711/1a + 5164a combo. Covers most use cases.

I love the 64
But I think your pair benefits from the uncluttered 67 |

You don’t need to change, but I prefer the 5164
