PM Submariner on Oysterflex?

We have the Daytona, Sky dweller, and Yachtmaster all on Oysterflex. But not the Submariner.

I personally think the white gold Submariner would look fantastic on Oysterflex. Same with the yellow gold version as well.

Obviously we can achieve a similar look aftermarket with Everest bands, etc. or separately purchase the Oysterflex but I would love to see it as an option from Rolex.

Which version of the Submariner do you think would look best on rubber?

PM Submariner on Oysterflex?

My bet is on 126613LN, the TT black bezel.

I agree with the OP….white gold sub on oysterflex would make sense given that all the watches on oysterflex now are all PM pieces.

Isn’t the 126655 (40mm RG YM) the PM Sub on OF? The heart beating inside the case is the same as the Subs.

Yes there are a couple Yachtmaster models on Oysterflex... that particular reference in rose gold is one of my favorite current Rolex models.

But would love to see the Sub on them as well!

All models on OysterFlex have curved and polished lugs (yachtmaster/ Daytona/ skydweller). The submariner has brushed and straight lugs not sure it will ever be on OysterFlex .

Bet it will happen eventually but only when Rolex sees a need to sell more PM watches at a greater profit margin.

They are good at maximizing profit. Only PM watches have the OF option. Feels like we are paying a premium for a piece of rubber.

A white oysterflex Smurf would possibly sell well.

Please don't do this to the Submariner. There should be some kind of agency that checks up on people if they have an "infraction" take their Rolex away from them.

i love my subs the way they are, and certainly wouldn't want the WG one on OF.

i think the WG and RG YM on OF fills that gap really well.

but hey, everyone's tastes are different.

while i appreciate the quick photoshop turnaround here, this only reinforces my humble opinion that this is a horrible idea. wrong. just wrong.
