4 to 1

Currently have 4 rolex watches in my collection

Ss panda Daytona

Yg dd40

Sub c date

Pepsi ss jubilee

If I would to be left with just 1 watch, ud say the Pepsi would be the one, ticks off everything on the checklist
Date, another timezone, sporty, dressy, it does it all

I’d trade all for platona if you want to end up with just 1 watch……if keeping 1 of those only it’s the Daytona

Daytona doesn't do it for me, it's a hype watch with functions that I would never use, got it because it was at msrp

Tend to be happiest with GMTs as well. Make mine an oyster though.

What happened to keeping 4-2? Can’t decide? Keep both GMT and Sub. You need one watch for stealthier days when you don’t feel like wearing a “color” bezel watch.

Sounds like you’ve made your decision.

It doesn’t really matter what anyone else thinks.

You have a very nice collection. For me personally it would be Daytona or Pepsi as well. I agree that the Daytona functions are not as useful as the gmt functions, but I love how the Daytona wears. The slimmer case profile helps it fit nicely under cuffs.

SS Daytona is all the Rolex I would pick. Comfort, movement, and design for the win. It’s legendary design goes with any attire or activity.
I personally wouldn’t want to go down to one watch regardless how spectacular it is.

The SS Daytona is hyped like the 911GT3 RS is. After 35 years of 911 ownership doesn’t mean the over hyped social media generation isn’t wrong with over hyping what they choose. Most times they over hype for the wrong reasons and totally miss why that particular model should be super hyped. In the end they are not wrong, just ignorant.

logically the pepsi is the perfect daily in that list but the day date is just too special of a watch imo and there's just something about having a day date as a one and only lol. would be tough for me to decide personally

i couldn't have one watch though

Ss panda Daytona - The only choice of these four

Yg dd40 - Too dressy/Less options

Sub c date - Too Boring/clunky

Pepsi ss jubilee - Too colorful/feminine

I would keep the DD only if I had to get rid of some. Or trade all in for Platinum DD 40 then pocket some cash.

Whats your opinion on the black dialed daytona? I find it to looks nicer on the wrist and also is a touch more elegant. I wore mine as my only for 2 1/2 years before I got back into this hobby.

Black dialed daytona + SS pepsi

Black dialed daytona + SS pepsi

I had this combo but traded the black for the white Daytona. I found the black Daytona’s dial was too illegible for me. I needed some contrast, but it is a beautiful watch.

It seems like you preferred Pepsi over Daytona.

I would trade for WG Pepsi with meteorite dial.

Not sure if this is a question but no I would not say the Pepsi. Sub Date FTW all day every day if only one Rolex owned.

I'd keep all four watches. If I was going to get ride of any one, I'd lose the Daytona. Like you said, it's a hype watch with functions not a lot of people use.
