My old friend PO had a big transformation.
Hi guys. This was something new to me. It's no secret that I like plain black divers in SS from Omega and Rolex, so I asked my watchmaker who is the official Omega service center here if it would be possible to transform my old 2208.50 into a 2200.50 instead of buying both like I did in the past. He then ordered a new dial, new bezel and a new seconds hand and here it is. I feel like I just bought a NOS classic PO and I couldn't be happier with the result. Hope you like it. Cheers.

Looking good, POs are great pieces. That little detail from the second hands has a cool pop. Im impressed how Omega satifies their customers not like that other guy...I had one bad experience with my first Omega (just didn't work for me) but haven't given up on the brand.
I'm looking to ad my first chrono and i keep going back to the speedy hesalite. I'm sure thats going to be the right choice. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk |

It's beautiful, classic, and I love it. At the same time, I will mourn the passing of the 2208 because I'm a dedicated fan of the original all-orange Planet Ocean

Good idea. Best part it you can swap it back if you ever want to go orange again.

Great looking watch! I like the orange but that is now classic, understated, practical watch.

I purchased mine used and traveled literally all over the world with it. Believe there is dirt or something in my links from dune bashing in Dubai.
The crown got disengaged and brought it in to the service center and am waiting now. Supposedly they will change out a lot of things so excited to see the results. Congrats on yours! |

Nice transformation.
Take care about this crystal, blue AR crystals are early production and nowadays they are pretty much unobtainable. Btw, with those parts you can convert it into 2200.51.00 too;) |

Doesn't hurt giving it a try at some stage when you feel a bit adventurous. Are you sure it's not the same dial? Maybe the orange looked a bit different due to fading?

And no, I'm not sure but I held them new side by side in my AD back then and the difference was very noticeable. |
