Rolex Hulk Real/Fake

I see a Rolex Hulk advertised (not on TRF) as being a 2014 model but the 300m has no space between the 300 and the m. I have heard that there was a space between the 300 and the m on the dial prior to 2016. Does the fact that this 2014 watch has no space raise a concern? I know the dealer is reputable, so i am not worried about that-just seemed odd based on what I have heard about the watch previously.

There have always been variations on dial fonts. Also, Rolex does not produce watches by model year, so a 2014 or 2016 date doesn't mean much without some research.

Can't say, you've posted no link or pictures....

Thank you! Really was just wondering if the 300m had a space before 2016 as I have heard it did not, (and the papers for the watch in question are dated in 2014) but if that variation existed, I trust it’s a real pre-2016 Hulk. The seller is a well regarded local B&M watch reseller (realized my post subject is probably more alarmist than it needs to be).

I only noticed this now that you said this but if you look at my thread with my watches you can see that my TT Sub-C (purchased 2014) has a gap while my 114060 (2019) doesnt. Very interesting. OP should post pictures though

Apparently I can’t post a link/image because I don’t have 10 posts. It looks like (and I believe it is) an authentic Hulk but there is no space between the 300 and the m, which I thought was a change that wasn’t made until 2016.

I presume the date is coming from a warranty card? after 2010 serial numbers are random

Correct. The ad states that the warranty card is dated in 2014. So if that’s right and I’m right about when the 300m variant with no space began (which I thought was 2016), something is off. I definitely understand why you would sell a 2014 manufactured watch in 2016 and date the card in 2016, but you would never sell a watch manufactured in 2016 and date the card with 2014. You’d be losing warranty years for no reason. That’s why the dates seemed off to me. But, it could be that there was a Hulk variant with the no space 300m dial manufactured before 2016 and my entire premise is wrong. It’s just that my searching on the forum suggested to me that that variant didn’t exist before mid-2016, which is what raised the question.

and NO Rolex sports watches hang around 2 years.

I never new or noted "hulk" dial variants, but for certain, if in doubt "walk"
