Khaki Tropical Aquanaut 5164 - what a LOOK !

Friends,

I have loved the watch before, but now, I am flashed !!!!!!!!!

The green PP Tropical from the 5167 match not totally perfect, but nearly - of course the 5167 rubber strap is thinner and so there is a little gap at the top of the lugs - but hey, absolutely NP - this look is just too nice and you won't notice it at all !

Best to you!
Werner

Looks amazing. Which I could get my hands on one of those. But at current prices it just seems crazy. Enjoy, it looks really good!

Love my 5164 but the tropical does become irritating on my wrist after wearing more than one day in a row...maybe it's just me. I find a bracelet much more comfy...looks good tho!!

That does look good. I might be getting the blue strap but wouldn't mind this one too... from an AD, price is £200.

Is there a gap between band and case?

Any input on how well this would fit on a 6.25 in wrist and where I could find this exact combo from an AD in LA?

The khaki strap was discontinued in October 2018. The Beverly Hills salon asked Geneva and was told could no longer be ordered. Hence the crazy secondary market premium. Maybe DM John Mayer and ask if he sells you one. He has three pairs total

Not sure if you are interested in the 5164 or 5167 above...

FWIW the 5167 is wearing large on the wrist, very flat, not so flexible rubber strap at the lugs. I have 6.75 inch wrists and didn't get comfortable size-wise to pull the trigger when I tried it on in the past. Not saying it won't work but the 5167 will look quite large on your wrist.

Personally went down the 5711 road instead, nominally same 40mm case size but definitely wearing smaller than the 5167.
