FSOT: GRAND SEIKO SBGA387 Spring Drive Blue Kirazuri Dial US LE 558 Pcs FULL SET

For sale or trade is the now-sold-out 2018 US Limited Edition of 558 Pieces, 40mm Grand Seiko Stainless Steel Spring Drive SBGA 387. I purchased this watch in November 2018, new from the Grand Seiko boutique on Rodeo Drive in LA which provides an extra year of warranty.

I have worn the watch occasionally, exclusively on the GS deployant-clasp brown crocodile strap with blue stitching, as shown on the photos. The steel bracelet was sized by the boutique and then taken off, so it is in immaculate new condition as I tried to capture in the photos. This set also includes one more GS strap: black crocodile with dark blue tint, which I have not used and it is also in new condition.

The only cosmetic issue this watch has is a snail scratch on the brushed surface of the case near the crown, which I have tried to show on the photos. The Zaratsu polished parts of the case are like new. Since the scratch is on the brushed surface, it may be possible for a local jeweler to buff out if it bothers you. Chances are the bracelet and case will pick up more scratches over time, so I personally do not think it is worth doing until you send the watch for periodic service to GS.

The spring drive movement keeps excellent time and glides smoothly as silk. The dial is the star of the show, changing color as the light changes.
