Sharing a experience of a restoration

Hi all. I am so happy with the restoration made in Rolex to my watch that I would like to share it and give credit to the extraordinary watchmakers who work repairing these invaluable pieces.
This clock went from one hand to another always as a gift and showed the years of use and abuse. And only because it was a Rolex I was willing to pay for the restoration with the manufacturer. It is expensive but worth it ...!

I would love to hear your opinions.

Welcome to the forum. A lovely watch. Did you send to an RSC for the restoration, or use an independent?

Nice - I wonder why they didn't put a new bracelet on it...

the OP is in Mexico and i believe that bracelet is the original "hecho en Mexico" thus very hard to replace. maybe he will consider letting RolliWorks service up that rare bracelet if he returns to this thread.

Thank you very much for your comments. I hope soon to be able to include photos of the clock movement.

It's nice that Rolex was able to provide a Luminova pie-pan service dial for the 1601. I think that dial contour is a really distinctive feature for the 4-digit DJs.
