Tried one on at a big NY AD yesterday.
It was out in the public case.
Stunning in the metal.

I see it every time I go to Torneau in NYC, but my local ADs never stock PM.

It's a great piece, I love the heft, but I could buy how many SS subs for the price?

Haven’t worn mine for a while now. Last time I had it on, it was sporting the soft top

I didn't know about it myself until Hodinkee did a feature on it the other year. Kind of cool inspiration for the Smurf

Have been tracking the used Smurf market. Where the heck did they all go? None from the trusted greys in quite some time.

I've seen two in my U.S. travels visiting a few ADs over the last 30 days. I'm guessing there are a few more "in the back" at other ADs as well....
Oh wait, silly me I forgot, "No more wait lists. No more hold backs. And full retail!".

Congrats! Having brand new is killer, but I'm ok with saving $10k+ on a gently used one. I try to do that with cars too. Just bought a 2009 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S with 50k miles for $26k. Sticker was $134,000.

I was also in St Maarten (Dutch side - front street) a few days ago and the AD had one there also. No SS sport models sadly.

Are there two reference numbers for the SS and for the WG?

It is not a big seller and the only reason is the price. If I could afford one I would buy one, I love that watch !

I've been to 4 different Rolex AD in the past 2 months and they have all had the WG Sub on display. Definitely a slow mover around these parts (Toronto).

As noted, there is no blue SS Sub, only black and green. They are both 116610, but the black is LN, the green LV. The WG is 116619LB.

Weird that DSW has one listed at ~34 now. That seems to be a lot higher than I remember.
