It all depends on the AD. My AD refunded me when Patek reduced their prices in 2015.

The last few apart from the 20% 5711 increase, were all largely as a result of Sterling falling in value.

Let’s hope the pound doesn’t recover anytime soon then. Just another small 4% increase in June as announced then, unless Brexit changes something.

If you are in the UK then you want the pound to recover.

Depends. Yes if you are buying. Not if you already have a large watch portfolio and may offload a few over time.

Thread is about Patek list price movements not how exchange rates might affect selling existing pieces.

I doubt most of us on this forum would complain even with a 5%-10% increase if we could get the timepieces we want within a few days. I sure as hell would take a 10% increase for a 5712 by this weekend.

I didn't notice you're in the UK, sorry. Here in the states we had a 7% price cut in Jan/Feb 2015 and nothing since, other than the Nautilus 20% hike.

I understand its worldwide, but it’s not confirmed if its 4% on all models or if some will be higher or lower. Personally, I am expecting 10-20% or more on the steel 5167a and 5164a to bring them back into line with the latest pricing, although the 5167a was previously the cheapest PP model.

Currently these 2 models have 20% lower price gap in relation to the other steel Aquanaut and Nautilus range and they never used to be. Prices in the grey market would suggest a correction like the 5711 had, but we will see what PP do in June.

I have a 5711R due in May. Better hope it comes in time before increase so I can clear that off. Don’t want to pay 4% more for “nothing”

Yes, likely the Aquas will get larger rises than 4 percent.

Reminds me of my 5711 last July but if any of the pieces I would like to add came through for me at the AD I would not hesitate, 4% price increase or not...

New price for the 5167 is about £15100. My AD showed me the new price list briefly on his phone

Did you see 64?

WTF? Just seen Chronext now asking £43K for it! This was supposed to be the reasonable premium one.

I too am interested in the 5164A price because I suspect the one I am waiting for (and is due in November latest) will miraculously be delivered on 2 June.

Are they now including a proper five year warranty to show they stand behind their quality as Rolex does?

No, only 2 years but why would you need more than 2 years warranty. All Patek’s must be served every 3-5 years if worn fairly often just to keep them running.

I left it 3.5 years and my 5167 broke but it’s easily fixed with full service, which is more reasonable than most other brands

Personally the 5 year warranty would be perfect.
Add it into the costing of the watch

Hearing your watch broke after 3.5 years is surprising

I just called to the AD where I have ordered a 5196 and they confirmed a price increase in June, they do not know the exact amount yet but they estimate 3%-5%.
