Incoming...the BLUE Alpinist on strapcode ;). PIC intensive

Well its finally here. All in I paid $1k incldufing the strapcode. Just love it!!!

Love the watch i would pay $2k for this watch...but i didnt. Like most seiko great value...punches way above weight class.

The strapcode oyster is great. The clasp could be better but its $100 all in all solid constructions. The little screws are weird tho.

Love it.

Same here. Have it on the Strapcode and the watch instantly feels like a more premium and expensive watch. Love it.

I managed to pick one of these up too! Great watches.

Personally, I like the stock strap it comes with and find it to be a vast improvement over the brown alligator grain strap included on the green models. Still on the fence whether I want to put it on a bracelet or not, but I feel like this watch would look grear with just about anything you throw on it.

Anyway, congrats and wear it in good health!

If you put fabric softener on it, will the band stretch?

So the reviews of the Alpinist have 1 flaw. And that is the 4 oclock crown gets moved around and the compass doesnt line up.

Ive had it all week and the compass North market has not moved at all. Just want to let people know.

Mine moves to be fair but I don’t really notice it as I don’t use the compass and it doesn’t spoil my love for the watch. My more expensive watches don’t get wore at all these days-just the Alpinists!

Yes it would. If you google insta stalker and search for #seikoalpinist. You should find one with a pcl there

Thanks. Am thinking the bezel is shiny and would match the PCLs.

Waiting for my alpinist.
