I would keep the 4 corners.

IMHO, I would let go the Sub, Blancpain, DD and the Lange.

But that’s me.

That’s not completely off the table. Thanks!

Sub (never been a giant fan of that ref) and the YG DD (duplicative with the platinum).

The others, I’d struggle to think of reasons to get rid of.

Excellent collection btw.

Platona, YG DD, AP, DJ. But you've made it hard by choosing so well in the first place. Nice collection!

I'd move the Sub, Blancpain, YG DD. If 4 had to go, the last to go would be the Lange.

I would get rid of the bottom row, except the Daytona.

And then keep the top row, with the exception of the YG DD. IMO.

I’d sell the ALS, the YG DD, and the BP.

Keep the Serti, it’s a cool watch.

I'd keep the top row and get rid of the bottom row.

Get a WG Daytona on bracelet if you really want one.

I would keep The DJ, AP and Lange.

You have watches that are similar:
Daily watch: DD, DD, DJ. = DJ wins due to the wife’s matching set.
Sports watch: Sub, Daytona, AP = AP wins by a hair from the Daytona in my eyes as i love the cleaner look and the pop of gold of your AP
Lange = unique in your collection

Shave the other 3 and you will be nice and lean, possibly add a PP for dress and that’s a mighy rounded collection, imho.

This is my vote as well.

Thanks! The brushed finish and blue dial were clinchers for me. I consider it a good Sub alternative. Good luck with your search.

Thanks for all the kind comments, suggestions, and helpful advice!

I think I’m making progress. I agree with many of you that the DJ was a distraction and holding things back. Since it’s not going away, but also not being worn regularly, I’ve pulled it out. I also pulled the Sub.

I will be adding another Patek or Lange on a strap, which will bring the normal rotation up to seven watches.

The question now is: stop there, or trim 1-2 more pieces from the collection? New pic....

Keep top second from left, and first three from left on bottom. Those are the ones that stand out to my eyes

I don't know what role the yellow gold DD fills that another watch in your collection doesn't do better.

Would sell the Blancpain and YG day date and replace with either an aquanaut or nautilus

Not sure, they are all very coveted pieces IMO.

The zeitwerk date would be a truly amazing addition to this already great collection!

Do you really expect anyone from this great forum to tell you to voluntarily 'trim' that beautiful collection??

Just add, my friend. ADD!
