YM blue on rubber

Inspired by the WGYMOF, I decided to put on the black Everest strap I have for my SubC.... not sure if I’m sold on it, not sure if the contrast between the black rubber and platinum bezel is too much , or if a diff color rubber would look better.

Would love to hear your thoughts / opinions !

I think I would prefer a dark or medium blue strap which will compliment the dial.

My vote also is for a navy blue rubber strap. I think that combo would look great, especially in the summer.

YM blue on rubber

Thanks for the opinions - I agree something about the black just doesn’t totally work. I already had it so figured I’d try it on not just for color but for fit.

Has anyone owned or seen in the flesh both the blue rubber B and blue Everest ? From the website photos hard to tell which shade of blue would be a better match.

Everest (from web):

Rubber B (from web):

black doesn't work that well on it, but it does look good on rubber.

The RubberB blue strap looks good on it.

I've tried a few different rubber straps on it. I have a blue camo rubber that I like it on.

I like the blue dial YM very much but I don't like any rubber strap (including the Oysterflex) so I would wear it with the Oyster bracelet.

I second what's already been said, superb with a navy blue strap, not so sure about the black one. A multicoloured nato might work too.

Update ... ordered a blue rubber B and Everest from my AD and looked at them both today- the Everest was too royal blue for my taste , but the rubber B was a nice navy and looked really good w my blue YM , so I bought it. Think it looks great . So far very comfortable. Only downsides vs Everest were that strap had to be cut to size and does not work w easy link . Otherwise, pretty happy w my choice.

Blue white or red work well.

I actually think a blue croc would look much better than a black or blue rubber.

Something like the omega blue croc would be perfect.

Those look good, would be even better with endlinks as it has the Plat bezel.

I like it on the blue and black rubber. Is the blue dialled version of the YM still available?
