Check with the local AD's in your area... Pepsi and Bat Girl GMT's are getting delivered more often then last year. I am wondering if that is because Rolex reduced from three steel GMT SKU's to two...

I hope it is true in more stores or... I may be getting more optimistic views.

^^^^^^^ wise advice. Buy when there's blood in the streets.

This. Resale prices are resale prices. It’s reality. You either deal with it or buy a different brand.

Along with the solution, you just supplied the justification why Rolex will never do that :)

Anything and I mean anything is only worth what someone is willing to pay. Whether it be a house, car or watch. If it's priced too high, it won't sell.

I shopped around for my Tudor BB at several local AD’s and none were willing to budge on the price of $3200-$3400 so I started looking at used and also Grey and found what I was after on Chrono24 at 15% under the lowest any AD offered and it came NIB with warranty, I would have liked to have given the coin the the local AD to work on building a relationship but there was to great a difference in pricing

It’s also a matter of perspective. The available steel sports models on the grey market are waaaay beyond my budget, but there is someone out there willing to pay the asking price. The current market is what it is, whether you’re trying to purchase from an AD or a grey. Patience, building relationships and saving the cash seem to be the keys in today’s market.

How is this any different than paying crazy prices for vintage watches ? Thats never made sense to me either. They are old and used. Doesn't make sense.

I guess antique furniture also does not make sense to you or the value of Rembrandt or van Gogh paintings or vintage cars etc.All old and used.
In the Metropolitan museum of art there are a lot of old and used stuff ...very valuable.
Paul Newman Daytonas ..Paul Newman's own personal watch given to him by his wife, sold for 17 million dollars at auction.

That are saying usually people who can not afford it. I could also say that Patek Nautilius price is a joke. But what it change? Luxury watch must hurt like someone said.
