What do you think of my dream collection?

I’ve made a list of all of the watches that I currently wish to own or currently do own.

Sport:

1. Rolex Explorer 214270 MK2 - OWN
2. Rolex Submariner 16610
3. Rolex Submariner 5513 Gilt, Meters First
3. Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167A - OWN
4. Omega Speedmaster 3576.50 - OWN
5. Nomos Zurich Weltzeit Ref. 807 - OWN
Rolex Daytona Ref. 116520

Dress/Complications:

1. Rolex Day-Date Rose, White dial Roman 228235
2. Patek Philippe 5131J
3. A. Lange Zeitwerk 145.032 - GRAIL
4.Lange 1 Moon Phase 192.025

What do you think about this collection? If I had all of these watches, I don’t know that there’s anything else that I would actually want. What would you change? Do you think this would cover all the bases of any watch that one could need? Just for fun, looking for everyone’s thoughts. This forum is a wealth of fantastic experience.

This would work for me!

However, there are so many watches out there and so many ways to collect that there is no right or wrong. One could say that your are missing and AP and a Vacheron. Or that you need a Reverso in there or a Grand Seiko. What about a vintage Heur? You see my point?

1, 2 & 3 would be enough for me but it's your collection so I hope you get them all.

Just collect what makes you happy. There aren't really any 'bases' that you 'need' to cover. You can still have a fantastic and very impressive watch collection without any Rolex, Patek or Lange watches

Thanks! I was more asking what someone would add or take away. Just opinions and such. I’m sure some of this may change eventually.

Oh I agree! Started with a Seiko that made me instantly happy and became my “rabbit hole.”

Should post images of each, so I don't have to go hunting myself :)

Yes and a blue dial submariner... A nice Bluesy to compliment
and complete the collection...

My favorite car commercial is for Mothers cleaning products. Each scene has a guy standing in front of a "grail" type car naming their dream car. the Caption at the end is "even when you have your dream car, you still have a dream car."

Same with watches.

My first thought is, the collection is a big one. I would work on minimizing some categories.

I would get just 1 sub, and I would minimize the dress/complications to just two. Your grail, and a suitable partner.
