Tudor Pepsi GMT

https://imgur.com/a/9VHXLNq

I collected (having entirely forgotten that I had ordered it, post Baselworld and in a Rolex Pepsi waiting list angst) my Tudor GMT yesterday.

It really does feel and look so good - the photos do not do it justice (I suspect just like its more famous cousin). The navy blue is very understated and indeed the whole bezel just feels rather subtle - a surprising conclusion given the colours.

Whilst many on TRF do not wish to avail themselves of a Tudor, I have no such qualms. I adore my Pelagos and I am sure this GMT will now win a lot of wrist time. They say and do different things to a Rolex.

If the call ever goes to say I have a Rolex Pepsi at MRSP, will this Tudor be traded in, or stay in the collection? My instinct is that it would stay and it would retain a loving place in the rotation but, if I am wrong about that, this Tudor is not likely to lose much value.

I would recommend this watch to anyone, including the Tudor doubters.

I like this watch a lot, but this size is still too big for my small wrists. Interested to see what Tudor brings in 2019.

Nothing wrong with Tudor, their new in house movements are rock solid and have 70 hour power reserve.
