IWC quick change question
I recently acquired an IWC Aquatimer and the spring bars seem to be fixed (I guess that would be called a bar and without spring?). I am a far cry from an expert and didn't want to jack anything up messing with it. Is there a way to use normal straps on an Aquatimer? I am hoping to using something like a Panerai style rubber one that pivots more freely than the IWC style that is tight against the case.

So, as I continue to answer my own question, I came across this post on a different forum for those interested in the answer:
https://forums.watchuseek.com/f350/a...e-3508354.html Now, the question is where to buy quality spring bars. This poster provides a link but the named vendor requires an $18 order plus $10 shipping. Seems excessive when I need $2 worth of spring bars, lol. Does anyone have a source for good spring bars? |

I'm going to give the change a shot; I really prefer a strap that pivots and isn't fixed at the watch case. |
