Bart Simpson vs Neat Font

Hello everyone,

Which one would you keep? Bart Simpson or a Neat Font?

Got both but need to raise some cash. I'm undecided.

Thank you!

Cheers

Whichever is more appealing based on condition, etc. And whichever you like better, gilt vs matte, 5513 vs 5512. I don't generally get too excited over the silly nicknames, it's a personal choice.

If equal condition, I’d keep the gilt dial.

Agree 100%%%

Almost as much as I detest the word Franken. Especially when inappropriately applied.

I'm not at home but found a pic of the 5512 (neat font) on the web and here is the 5513 gilt Bart Simpson.

Agree with the above - I would chose the gilt dial, all else being equal.

I like both. But it's clear the gilt one is "sexier"
In terms of rarity, they both are..

Obviously, you are not "in the know" like the OP. And isn't that the whole point of the nicknames after all?

Hahaha I hate nicknames also but is like faster for people to get an image in their minds of the watch.

Basically is a 5513 gilt vs matte 5512

To my eyes, the hands on the gilt watch look curved. With 1966 serial numbers, should they not still be flat?
I agree with the others-IF all other things are equal, keep the gilt.

The 5512 neat fonts is far rarer and in this case, in better shape

Late gilt on ‘66 are ok with curved hands. Transitional period. If a gilt example is original and well preserved, no contest of it being the one to keep over a matte 5512 in comparable condition.

Sell an organ, or go on the game (but don't become a YouTuber... that's just a step too far) my advice !
